Had Will and his brother in law out with us for a 6 hour trip. Man we worked for the fish today, normally when we catch a fish covered in mud its a pretty good sign that fishing will be a little slower, but we moved around a bunch until we found some fish that wanted to cooperate, we even ended up with a nice double, Thanks for fishing with me yall.

 Mid week trip on Beautiful HRL 

Had Brandon out with us today, it was super cold so we started fishing some deep timber, and man the fish were there and fired up!!! We caught steadily here for almost 3 hours, decided with warming temps to move up the lake and it paid off as we caught fish the rest of the day including a crazy 4 at a time out of 5ft of water.

Got to spend the day fishing with my buddy Will, He aslo guides on HRL for catfish, he is an awesome guide , book a trip with hime at some point in time and you will not be upset about that. We had a great day moving around the lake chasing the bite. We caught over 30fish with some good quality fish in the mix.

Got to have a fun fishing day with my Son and my buddy Tatum. We had a pretty good day of catching but it took a little bit of riding to find the fish we were looking for, once we got set up we caught fish pretty steady the rest of the day.

Bringing in the New Year slimy 

Fished with my buddy Shawn and man we had a catching day once we found out the pattern. We caught a lot of quality  fish and one True Trophy  at 51lbs.  Those days will never get old.

Got to fish a two day Tournament with my buddy Tommy, we had to fish Lake Norman on day 1 and High Rock Lake on day 2. We had a really solid day at Lake Norman and finished the day in first place. We had a solid plan at High Rock and it did not work out exactly how we wanted it to. But we ended up winning the whole Tournament. We were out of big fish by less than .5lb but had a great time.

Today I had Diane out on the ol G3 with some of her kids and we had a great day catching and even had a surprise flathead at the end of the day.

<p><div>11-9 Guide trip report. Today's fishing was flipped, I really felt like the bite would have been great in the morning, however after jumping to many spots holding fish they were tight lipped. Decided to make a big move and it paid off with 15 (1/2 😉) fish over the rails of the G3. Pretty cool moment our trip ended at 3, but one of the guys had not got a quality blue cat yet, I was like 10 more min and Bam marked a good blue about 3 min after a big take down! Im always gonna work hard to give you the best trip possible. Thanks for the laughs and choosing to fish with me!</div></p>

Got out today with a chance to fish on some of my favorite conditions had my buddy Sean Starling  out. Took us just a little bit to figure out some type of pattern we covered a lot of water and put some good fish in the boat today end of the day with 18 fish over the rails of the G3 fall fishing should continue to get just a little bit better.

Guide trip

<p>Rounded out the weekend with Derek Prescott and his brother on the G3, we started off with a nice Green Fish today, then had to move around  and change things up but, when we did we had another day of steady reeling with 25 fish for the day, even caught a few for the fryer!! <p>Got out today ahead of the storm to do a little looking, a little fishing and worked on some YouTube stuff il try to have out by tomorrow.</p><p><br></p><p>Bait for me was up on the flats this morning there were schools of good sized gizzard shad crusing on 10-11ft of water.</p><p><br></p><p>Fishing i focused on water from 15ft to 4 ft</p><p><br></p><p>Finished the day with 18fish over the rails of the G3 with a few good ones in the mix!</p>

We started the day with some classic fishing techniques, working different areas of the lake to find where the fish were holding. It didn't take long before the rods started bending, and we were into some nice Blue catfish. These fish really put up a fight, making strong runs and testing our drag. It was an absolute blast getting them in the boat. We kept at it, mixing up our approaches and trying different spots, and the action stayed steady all day. Great Father and Son trip.

Had another father and son trip on High Rock Lake today. Today's mission was to fill the coolers so that's exactly what we did. It was pretty cool to be a part of there yearly two day fishing trip. Epic day of blue cat fishing

Man i never take days like these for granted. Set out to keep up with the fish I found on Friday not sure how the bite would be, with all the fronts and rain etc, only constant has been warm. Bait is still at Flat swamp but took a little bit to dial them in.<div><br></div><div>After that I had action from 830 to 230, multiple doubles almost some tripples, and lots of quality fish in the mix. <p>I originally had a trip planned for today, but with the potential for rain and 30mph winds we rescheduled. With that being said I had already planned to fish so....</p><p><br></p><p>Started the day in the deep end,&nbsp; if your looking for shad one throw of the Fishin Fuel 10ft net,( taped) In 40ft of water will load you up near flat swamp.</p><p><br></p><p>I have not been in over three weeks, between the cold, snow and Ice there were a lot of good fish in the deep end, but with so much bait productivity was at a minimum.</p><p><br></p><p>With the few warm days and low water I made a switch and fished 2-10ft today and it paid off big time, put a total of 30 blue Cats and a few channels in the boat.&nbsp; Lots of these were quality fish to. All were released to get bigger!</p><p><br></p><p>Warmest water today 44 degrees</p>

What a great day out on the lake with the crew from Cats on the Rock Guide Service! April Gregory and her family joined me for a 4-hour fishing trip at the Tamarac Marina, and we had a wonderful time.

What a great day we had out on the water with Joanne and the Cats on the Rock Guide Service team! The conditions were perfect for our 4-hour fishing trip at the Tamarac Marina.

High Rock Lake Guide trip

Got to spend the day with an awesome family 6 and 8 year old boys looking to catch some catfish. We focused on stretching strings and not hunting Giants and these boys had a great time.
