<p>Rounded out the weekend with Derek Prescott and his brother on the G3, we started off with a nice Green Fish today, then had to move around  and change things up but, when we did we had another day of steady reeling with 25 fish for the day, even caught a few for the fryer!! <p>Got out today ahead of the storm to do a little looking, a little fishing and worked on some YouTube stuff il try to have out by tomorrow.</p><p><br></p><p>Bait for me was up on the flats this morning there were schools of good sized gizzard shad crusing on 10-11ft of water.</p><p><br></p><p>Fishing i focused on water from 15ft to 4 ft</p><p><br></p><p>Finished the day with 18fish over the rails of the G3 with a few good ones in the mix!</p>

We started the day with some classic fishing techniques, working different areas of the lake to find where the fish were holding. It didn't take long before the rods started bending, and we were into some nice Blue catfish. These fish really put up a fight, making strong runs and testing our drag. It was an absolute blast getting them in the boat. We kept at it, mixing up our approaches and trying different spots, and the action stayed steady all day. In between the catfish bites, we got to take in the beautiful lake scenery and enjoy the peaceful setting.

Had another father and son trip on High Rock Lake today. Today's mission was to fill the coolers so that's exactly what we did. It was pretty cool to be a part of there yearly two day fishing trip. Man i never take days like these for granted. Set out to keep up with the fish I found on Friday not sure how the bite would be, with all the fronts and rain etc, only constant has been warm. Bait is still at Flat swamp but took a little bit to dial them in.<div><br></div><div>After that I had action from 830 to 230, multiple doubles almost some tripples, and lots of quality fish in the mix.  Finished the day with 37 fish over the rails!</div><div><br></div><div>What an awesome fishery we are blessed with. Fishing after the deep freeze

<p>I originally had a trip planned for today, but with the potential for rain and 30mph winds we rescheduled. With that being said I had already planned to fish so....</p><p><br></p><p>Started the day in the deep end,&nbsp; if your looking for shad one throw of the Fishin Fuel 10ft net,( taped) In 40ft of water will load you up near flat swamp.</p><p><br></p><p>I have not been in over three weeks, between the cold, snow and Ice there were a lot of good fish in the deep end, but with so much bait productivity was at a minimum.</p><p><br></p><p>With the few warm days and low water I made a switch and fished 2-10ft today and it paid off big time, put a total of 30 blue Cats and a few channels in the boat.&nbsp; Lots of these were quality fish to. All were released to get bigger!</p><p><br></p><p>Warmest water today 44 degrees</p>

What a great day out on the lake with the crew from Cats on the Rock Guide Service! April Gregory and her family joined me for a 4-hour fishing trip at the Tamarac Marina, and we had a wonderful time.

The conditions were perfect - the water was calm, and the overcast skies kept things comfortable as we trolled, baitcast, and drift fished our way around the lake. What a great day we had out on the water with Joanne and the Cats on the Rock Guide Service team! The conditions were perfect for our 4-hour fishing trip at the Tamarac Marina.
